About Cabot Trail, Cape Breton Island

The Cabot Trail is a road of about 300 kilometres that loops around the northern tip of Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia. Opened in 1932, it climbs over coastal mountains, drops into fishing villages and passes through Cape Breton Highlands National Park, created in 1936. The area keeps strong Scottish Gaelic and Acadian French traditions, with fiddle music heard at summer festivals. Whales can often be seen from the cliffs. In this photo the road winds along green hills and sea cliffs above the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Puzzle tip: start with the grey road, then the green hills along it, and finish with the sea and sky.
