About The Parthenon, Athens

The Parthenon was built on the Acropolis of Athens between 447 and 432 BC as a temple to the goddess Athena, protector of the city. Its builders used subtle curves instead of perfectly straight lines, so that the temple would look perfectly straight to the human eye. Over the centuries it has served as a church, a mosque and even a gunpowder store, which exploded in 1687.

Puzzle tip: the columns look alike, so use the chips and marks on each one to tell them apart.
