About Chichen Itza Pyramid

Chichen Itza, on Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula, was one of the largest Maya cities, at its height roughly a thousand years ago. Its best-known building, El Castillo, is a stepped pyramid dedicated to the feathered-serpent god Kukulcán. Its four staircases have 91 steps each, which with the top platform add up to 365, one for each day of the year.

Puzzle tip: the staircases give strong diagonal lines; the sky and the grass around the base come last.
