About Church of San Juan Parangaricutiro in the Lava

In 1944 lava from the new volcano Parícutin slowly flowed into the town of San Juan Parangaricutiro. The people had time to leave, and they built a new town, Nuevo San Juan Parangaricutiro, several kilometres away. Almost everything was buried, but the stone church was too tall to disappear: its bell tower and part of its front still stand above a sea of black rock. Today visitors walk or ride over the old lava to reach it. In this photo the tower rises from the lava field, with green hills and the volcano's neighbours behind.

Puzzle tip: build the stone tower first; the black lava has many small shapes, so sort it by light and shadow.
