About Colourful Street in Jalatlaco, Oaxaca

Jalatlaco is a historic neighbourhood of Oaxaca de Juárez, close to the centre of the city. Its narrow, stone-paved streets and low buildings preserve an older townscape, while murals and decorations bring changing colour to the area. Here, strings of papel picado, Mexico's cut-paper flags, hang above the road. The façades, cobblestones and shadows give each part of the scene a different texture. Nearby, the historic centre of Oaxaca is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Puzzle tip: follow the cobbled street and building edges before matching the colourful decorations overhead.
