About Fisherman's Bastion, Budapest

Fisherman's Bastion is a fairy-tale terrace of white stone turrets and staircases on Castle Hill in Buda. Although it looks medieval, it was built between 1895 and 1902 as a viewing platform. Its seven towers stand for the seven Magyar tribes that settled in Hungary in the 9th century, and it is named after the guild of fishermen who once defended this part of the city walls.

Puzzle tip: the white turrets and the colourful church roof are easy to spot; the sky and paving come last.
