Hungary is a landlocked country in Central Europe, crossed by the River Danube. Our Hungary puzzles are set in Budapest, its capital, one of the most beautiful river cities in Europe.

Budapest was formed in 1873 when three towns were joined: hilly Buda and old Óbuda on the west bank, and flat Pest on the east. The Chain Bridge, the first permanent bridge across the Danube here, links the two sides below Buda Castle and the white towers of Fisherman's Bastion. On the Pest bank, the huge Hungarian Parliament Building is reflected in the river.
The city sits on more than a hundred hot springs, and its thermal baths are part of daily life. The yellow Széchenyi Bath, with its steaming outdoor pools, is one of the largest bath complexes in Europe.
