About Glass Dome of the Galleria, Milan

At the centre of Milan's Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II rises a great octagonal dome of iron and glass, about 47 metres high. Beneath it, mosaics represent four continents, and the arcade's four arms lead to the cathedral square, La Scala and the city streets. Its designer, Giuseppe Mengoni, died in a fall from the scaffolding in 1877, just before the last part of the building was finished.

Puzzle tip: the lines of the glass roof radiate from the centre, so follow them outwards.
