About Golden Morning over Kutaisi

Kutaisi lies on both banks of the Rioni River in western Georgia and is the country's third largest city. It is one of the oldest cities in the world still lived in: in ancient times it was a capital of Colchis, the land where, in the Greek legend, Jason and the Argonauts sailed to find the Golden Fleece. Today its old town is a maze of quiet streets, small houses with wooden balconies and gardens, with Bagrati Cathedral on the hill above. This photo shows the roofs, trees and river of the old town in warm morning light.

Puzzle tip: start with the river and the roofs closest to you, then the golden trees, and the hills and the sky last.
