About Ha Long Bay Limestone Islands

Ha Long Bay in northern Vietnam holds around 1,600 limestone islands and islets rising steeply from emerald water, shaped by millions of years of erosion. Its name means "where the dragon descends", after a legend that a dragon created the islands to protect the land. The bay has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994.

Puzzle tip: each rocky island has a distinct outline; match their reflections in the calm water underneath.
