About Hills and Bays of Padar Island from the Air

Padar's shape is the result of old volcanic hills partly drowned by the sea, which left a crumpled island of ridges, valleys and deep coves. Hardly any people live on it, and its dry grassland and scattered palms are home to deer, wild pigs and birds. The national park around it is also a marine park, with coral reefs, manta rays and strong currents that bring nutrients to the water. More than 1,000 kinds of fish have been recorded in the park. This aerial photo looks across several bays at once, each with its own strip of beach and turquoise shallows.

Puzzle tip: find the dark blue and turquoise water first; the folds of the green hills come together after that.
