About Inner Gate of the Citadel of Aleppo

The Citadel of Aleppo rises on a great mound about 50 metres above the old city, and people have used the hilltop since the 3rd millennium BC. Most of its present walls and towers were built in the 12th and 13th centuries by the Ayyubid ruler az-Zahir Ghazi, a son of Saladin. Visitors enter across a high stone bridge and through a massive gatehouse, where a bending passage, heavy iron doors and openings for defenders made it very hard to storm. The Ancient City of Aleppo has been a World Heritage Site since 1986.

Puzzle tip: the stone blocks of the gate have clear lines to follow; the sky is the last part.
