About Minato Mirai Waterfront, Yokohama

The waterfront of Minato Mirai is one of Yokohama's favourite places for an evening walk. Its best-known shapes are the curved, sail-like hotel by the water and the Cosmo Clock 21 Ferris wheel, which was the largest in the world when it opened in 1989 and also works as a giant clock. Old red brick warehouses from the early twentieth century stand nearby, now full of shops and cafes. In this photo the late afternoon sun lights up the towers, the wheel and the harbour.

Puzzle tip: start with the Ferris wheel and the curved hotel, then the tall white tower, and finish with the water and clouds.
