About Northern Lights over a Fjord, Tromsø

Tromsø, a city of about 77,000 people some 350 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle, is often called the gateway to the Arctic and one of the best places in the world to see the northern lights. From late November to mid-January the sun does not rise here at all, and on clear nights green arcs of aurora stretch across the sky and shine back from the calm water of the fjords. Many early Arctic expeditions set out from Tromsø's harbour.

Puzzle tip: the green arc and its reflection are the key pieces; the snowy shore and the dark water come next.
