About Palacio de Bellas Artes and Torre Latinoamericana, Mexico City

The Palacio de Bellas Artes stands near Alameda Central in the historic centre of Mexico City. Its white exterior and coloured dome make it easy to pick out among surrounding streets. Nearby, the much taller Torre Latinoamericana marks another chapter in the city's architecture. This elevated photograph places both landmarks in the same frame, with blocks of buildings stretching away behind them. The palace is a venue for music, dance and visual art. The Torre Latinoamericana, completed in 1956, came through the strong earthquakes of 1957 and 1985 without serious damage.

Puzzle tip: build the palace dome and tall tower first, then fill the smaller city blocks.
