About Pink Sand Beach, Harbour Island

Harbour Island, off the north coast of Eleuthera in the Bahamas, is famous for a beach about five kilometres long whose sand glows pale pink. The colour comes from the tiny red shells of foraminifera, single-celled sea creatures that live on the reef, mixed with white coral sand. On the other side of the island lies Dunmore Town, one of the oldest settlements in the Bahamas.

Puzzle tip: the pink sand and the blue sea form clear areas; the waves need patience.
