About Summit of Sulphur Mountain, Banff

The Banff Gondola carries visitors up Sulphur Mountain, from about 1,580 to 2,280 metres, in around eight minutes. From the summit building a boardwalk leads along the ridge to Sanson's Peak, where a small stone weather station built in 1903 still stands. It is named after Norman Sanson, a museum curator who climbed the mountain more than a thousand times to read the instruments. The hot springs at the mountain's foot led to the creation of Banff National Park in 1885. In this winter photo a Canadian flag flies above snowy peaks.

Puzzle tip: start with the red and white flag, then the snowy peaks, and finish with the sky.
