About Svislach Riverfront, Minsk

The Svislach River runs through Minsk, the capital of Belarus. Parks, bridges and public spaces follow parts of its banks and connect different districts of the city. Minsk was heavily damaged during the Second World War, so its present urban scene mixes restored older buildings with later construction. Colourful buildings and their reflections make two distinct bands across this waterfront view. On its bank stands the Trinity Suburb, a quarter of colourful 19th-century houses rebuilt in the 1980s.

Puzzle tip: assemble the real buildings before matching their softer reflections in the water.
