About Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Bangkok

Wat Phra Kaew, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, stands within the grounds of the Grand Palace. Its main statue is a small Buddha carved from a single piece of green jade, only about 66 centimetres tall. Three times a year, at the start of the hot, rainy and cool seasons, the King changes its golden robes in a ceremony. Giant guardian demons from the Ramakien, the Thai version of the Ramayana, watch the gates, and the epic is painted in long murals around the cloister. The photo shows the temple's golden towers and decorated halls.

Puzzle tip: piece together the tall golden towers first, then the halls with their many-coloured details.
