About Tokyo and Mount Fuji from Above

Seen from high above, Tokyo seems to have no end: the rooftops of the city stretch to the horizon in every direction. The capital of Japan is the centre of the largest urban area on Earth, with more than thirty-five million people. On clear days, most often in winter, Mount Fuji can be seen about a hundred kilometres to the south-west, its snowy cone rising above the haze. In this photo the Sumida River winds through the dense city in the foreground.

Puzzle tip: start with the snowy peak of Mount Fuji and the river, then fill in the city block by block towards the front.
