About Traditional Dhow in Doha Harbour at Twilight

Dhows are the traditional wooden sailing boats of the Gulf and the Indian Ocean, with long hulls and tall masts. For centuries, fleets of dhows carried pearl divers out to the oyster beds off Qatar every summer, and others sailed as far as India and East Africa with dates, spices and timber. Many dhows, now with engines, still moor in the old harbour on Doha's Corniche, a seven-kilometre seaside promenade. Every year Doha holds a festival of traditional dhows with races, boat building and pearl-diving displays.

Puzzle tip: the dhow and its mast are the clearest shapes; the water and the evening sky are best sorted by colour.
