About this quiz
Each question starts with a close-up of a famous place: a corner of a tower, a carved doorway, a slice of a waterfall. Name it from four answers. If you need more, zoom out to see more of the photo. A right answer from the close-up is worth a point, after zooming out half a point.
There are about a hundred landmarks, from the Eiffel Tower and the Taj Mahal to Machu Picchu, Uluru and Victoria Falls. Every photo comes from one of our jigsaw puzzles: after each answer you read one fact about the place, and the link takes you to its puzzle.
Oceania
Oceania's landmarks in this quiz include the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, Uluru, the Twelve Apostles, Heart Reef on the Great Barrier Reef, Milford Sound, Aoraki / Mount Cook and Mount Otemanu on Bora Bora.
The photos are credited under each picture and on their puzzle pages.
