The Blue Mountains rise to 2,256 metres in the east of the island, and the coffee grown on their misty slopes is among the most prized in the world. On the north coast, Dunn's River Falls tumbles over a staircase of rock straight onto the beach, and visitors can climb up it hand in hand.
In the far west, Negril is known for Seven Mile Beach, a long curve of white sand, and for the cliffs of the West End, where brave swimmers jump into the deep, clear water at sunset.
