Malawi Puzzles
Malawi is a narrow, landlocked country in south-eastern Africa, often called the Warm Heart of Africa for the friendliness of its people. About a fifth of its area is covered by Lake Malawi, which fills a deep valley of the Great Rift. Our Malawi puzzles visit the lake and the mountains of the south.

About Malawi
The Scottish explorer David Livingstone reached the lake in 1859, and missionaries and settlers soon followed. The British ruled the country as Nyasaland until it became independent as Malawi in 1964.
Lake Malawi is home to hundreds of kinds of colourful fish found nowhere else. In the south, the granite massif of Mount Mulanje rises above green tea estates, and Chiradzulu Mountain recalls John Chilembwe's rising against colonial rule in 1915.
