About Sunset over Lake Malawi, Mangochi

Mangochi lies at the southern end of Lake Malawi, where the Shire River flows out of the lake on its way to the Zambezi. In colonial times the town was called Fort Johnston, and today it has a small museum about the lake and its history, as well as a clock tower built in memory of Queen Victoria. The lake's most loved fish is chambo, a kind of tilapia, and fish farms with round floating cages now help supply it. In this photo the setting sun shines over the calm water, with fish cages, a small canoe and a dark hill on the far shore.

Puzzle tip: start with the bright sun and its reflection; the dark water and the clouds take longer.
