Peru was the heart of the Inca Empire, the largest empire in the Americas before the arrival of the Spanish. Today it combines Andean mountains, desert coasts and the Amazon rainforest. Our Peru puzzles show Machu Picchu, Cusco, the Sacred Valley and the country's most remarkable landscapes.

Machu Picchu Ruins
Machu Picchu, built in the fifteenth century on a mountain ridge above the Urubamba River, became known around the world after 1911 and is one of the New Seven Wonders. Cusco, the old Inca capital, has Spanish churches built on Inca stone walls, and at Moray, circular terraces descend into the ground like a giant amphitheatre.
Lake Titicaca, on the border with Bolivia, is the highest navigable lake in the world, where boats are still made of totora reeds. You can also piece together Rainbow Mountain, striped by minerals, the desert oasis of Huacachina and an Andean condor gliding over the deep Colca Canyon.
