Trinidad and Tobago is a two-island nation at the southern end of the Caribbean, just off the coast of Venezuela. It is the birthplace of the steelpan, the home of calypso and host of one of the world's great carnivals. Our puzzles show its beaches, bays and the famous scarlet ibis.

The scarlet ibis, the national bird, lives in the Caroni Swamp near Port of Spain. At sunset, flocks of these bright red birds fly in to roost in the mangroves, turning the trees red.
On Trinidad's north coast, Maracas Bay is a favourite beach, known for a local sandwich of fried shark in bread called bake and shark. Quieter Tobago has the thatched jetty and white sand of Pigeon Point and a rainforest reserve protected since 1776, one of the oldest in the world.
