About Tuvalu
Its whole land area is only about 26 square kilometres, and the highest natural point is just four and a half metres above the sea, so rising sea levels are a serious concern. Tuvalu earns part of its income by renting out its internet address ending, .tv. Most people live on Fongafale, a narrow islet where the airstrip doubles as a playground when no planes are due.
You can put together a lagoon beach on Funafuti, boats on the Funafuti lagoon and the main road through Fongafale.
