About Ice Cliffs from Above, Antarctica

Seen from the air, Antarctica's coast is a wall of ice where glaciers meet the sea. The continent is covered by an ice sheet that is almost two kilometres thick on average and holds most of the fresh water on Earth. Where the ice reaches the ocean it ends in high cliffs, and pieces break away to become icebergs. In winter the sea around the continent freezes too, and the ice covers an area larger than Antarctica itself.

Puzzle tip: the dark water and the white ice make two clear halves; the shadows in the cliffs help you join them.
