About Turquoise Lagoons on the Oman Coast

The coast of Oman changes from rocky headlands in the north to long, flat shores facing the Arabian Sea. In the centre of the country, around Al Khaluf and Barr Al Hikman, the tide fills shallow lagoons between white sandbanks, and the wetlands are an important stop for migrating shorebirds. Seen from above, the pale sand makes the shallow water look almost turquoise beside the deeper sea. In the puzzle, follow the curved edge of the sand before tackling the larger areas of blue water.

Puzzle tip: follow the pale shoreline first, then sort the blue water by its changing shades.
