About Matsumoto Castle and Red Bridge in Autumn

Matsumoto Castle in Nagano Prefecture has one of the oldest surviving main keeps in Japan, built in the 1590s, and it is one of only five castles listed as National Treasures. Its black walls have earned it the nickname Crow Castle. The keep is reflected in a wide moat, crossed here by the small vermilion Uzumi Bridge. In this autumn photo, a maple tree in full red colour leans over the water beside the castle, under a deep blue sky.

Puzzle tip: start with the red bridge and the red maple, then the black castle, and finish with the moat and the sky.
