About Silver Pavilion in Autumn, Kyoto

The gardens of Ginkaku-ji, officially called Jisho-ji, combine a dry garden of white sand, with a flat-topped sand cone said to be for viewing the moon, and a moss garden with paths that climb the wooded hillside. The famous Philosopher's Path, a canal-side walk lined with cherry trees, begins just outside the temple gate. In this autumn photo the pavilion is framed by maples in red and orange, with green pines and a still pond in front.

Puzzle tip: start with the pavilion, then sort the trees by colour: red, orange and green, and finish with the pond.
