About Waterfall on the Granite Cliffs of Yakushima

Much of Yakushima is made of granite that rose from deep in the earth millions of years ago, and its rivers have carved smooth, sloping rock faces where the water slides and tumbles towards the sea. The island's highest peak, Miyanoura-dake, is the tallest mountain in Kyushu, so the island has climates from subtropical on the coast to snowy at the top. This photo shows a waterfall dropping into a gorge between huge, smooth walls of pale granite, with green forest on the slopes.

Puzzle tip: start with the white waterfall, then the long, smooth rock face on the left, and finish with the forest.
