About Mont Blanc Reflected in a Mountain Lake, Chamonix

Mont Blanc, at about 4,805 metres, is the highest mountain in the Alps and in Western Europe, on the border between France and Italy. It was first climbed in 1786 by Jacques Balmat and Michel-Gabriel Paccard from Chamonix, a date often seen as the birth of mountaineering. Across the valley from it rise the Aiguilles Rouges, whose slopes hold small lakes that mirror the whole massif on calm days. This photo was taken from one of those lakes: the snowy dome of Mont Blanc and its sharp granite needles are reflected perfectly in the still water.

Puzzle tip: start with the snowy peaks and the sharp needles, then their reflection, and finish with the dark shore and the blue sky.
