About The Seven Sisters Waterfall, Geirangerfjord

The Seven Sisters is the best known waterfall of the Geirangerfjord: seven streams of water side by side, falling about two hundred and fifty metres down the cliff into the fjord. They are fullest in late spring and early summer, when the snow melts in the mountains. Opposite them, across the fjord, falls a single waterfall called the Suitor. Local legend says he is a young man trying to win one of the seven sisters, who keep refusing him, while his bottle-shaped waterfall shows how he drowns his sorrows. In this photo the seven streams pour down a dark cliff into calm blue water.

Puzzle tip: start with the white streams of the waterfall, then the dark cliff and the green slopes, and finish with the water and the blue sky.
