About Bicycles by an Amsterdam Canal

Amsterdam has more bicycles than people, and cycling is the easiest way to get around its compact centre. Bikes are parked along almost every railing and bridge beside the canals. The ring of 17th-century canals around the old city was dug during the Dutch Golden Age and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, lined with houseboats and tall merchants' houses.

Puzzle tip: the bicycles in front are full of detail; the canal and the houses behind fill the middle.
