About The Twin Pagodas of Doi Inthanon from Above

Doi Inthanon in Chiang Mai Province is the highest mountain in Thailand, at 2,565 metres. Near its summit stand two pagodas built by the Royal Thai Air Force: one marked King Bhumibol's sixtieth birthday in 1987, the other Queen Sirikit's in 1992. They are surrounded by flower gardens that bloom in the cool mountain air, and on clear days the view reaches over forested ridges for many kilometres. Seen from above at sunset, the two pagodas stand on a ridge with misty hills fading into the distance.

Puzzle tip: start with the two pale pagodas on the ridge, then fill the layers of forest and hazy hills behind them.
