About Reticulated Giraffes in Samburu

Samburu National Reserve lies in the dry north of central Kenya, along the Ewaso Ng'iro River, whose water draws animals from the surrounding semi-desert. It is famous for the 'Samburu Special Five', animals adapted to dry country that are rarely seen in the south: the reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, the Beisa oryx, the Somali ostrich and the long-necked gerenuk antelope. Reticulated giraffes have large, sharply outlined brown patches separated by thin white lines, like a net. This photo shows two of them walking through green bush below rocky hills.

Puzzle tip: start with the two giraffes and their netted pattern, then fill the green bushes and the hills behind.
