About Rooftops and Wind Catchers of Yazd

Yazd, in the middle of Iran's desert, is one of the oldest cities in the world still built mostly of mud brick. Its skyline is dotted with badgirs, or wind catchers, tall towers that funnel cool air into the houses below, and water was brought from the mountains through underground channels called qanats. The historic city of Yazd is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Puzzle tip: the rooftops are all one colour, so use the shapes of the wind catchers and their shadows.
