About Charles Bridge and Prague Old Town

This view from Petřín Lookout Tower looks across the red roofs of Prague's Lesser Town to Charles Bridge and the Old Town beyond the Vltava River. Building of the stone bridge began in 1357 under Emperor Charles IV; for centuries it was Prague's only bridge across the river, and today it is lined with thirty statues and crowded with walkers from morning till night.

Puzzle tip: follow the line of the bridge and its arches first, then sort the rooftops by colour and the river by its reflections.
