About Kenroku-en Garden in Autumn, Kanazawa

Kenroku-en in Kanazawa is counted among the three great gardens of Japan. It was created over almost two centuries by the Maeda lords, who ruled one of the richest domains in the country, and its name means the garden that combines six qualities, from spaciousness to beautiful views. Its best-known feature is the Kotoji lantern, a stone lantern with two legs of different lengths standing at the edge of the pond. Here it is seen among red and orange trees mirrored in the water.

Puzzle tip: start with the stone lantern, then the autumn trees and their reflections, and finish with the sky.
