About Rainbow Bridge over Tokyo Bay

The Rainbow Bridge, opened in 1993, is a white suspension bridge about eight hundred metres long that carries roads and a driverless train across Tokyo Bay to the artificial island of Odaiba. Odaiba's name recalls the small fortress islands, or daiba, built in the bay in the 1850s to defend the city against American warships; two of them still survive near the bridge. This photo shows the bridge on a clear day, with the towers of central Tokyo behind it.

Puzzle tip: start with the white towers and cables of the bridge, then the skyline, and finish with the water and sky.
