About Reclining Buddha in a Cave, Thailand

Many Thai temples are built inside limestone caves, where statues of the Buddha rest in the cool half-light. The reclining pose shows the Buddha at the moment of passing into nirvana. Thailand's limestone hills, especially in the west and south of the country, are riddled with caves that have been used as shrines and monasteries for centuries.

Puzzle tip: the golden statue is the easiest part; the dark cave walls need sorting by shade.
