About St Mark's Square, Venice

St Mark's Square is the only square in Venice called a piazza; all the others are campi. It is lined on three sides by long arcaded buildings that once held the offices of the city's officials, and at its end stand St Mark's Basilica and the tall bell tower. When the high tides come in autumn and winter, it is one of the first places in the city to flood.

Puzzle tip: the long arcades have repeating patterns, so look closely at the edges of each piece; the sky and the paving come last.
