Mozambique Puzzles

Mozambique stretches for about 2,500 kilometres along the Indian Ocean in south-eastern Africa, with long beaches, coral islands and a warm sea. Our Mozambique puzzles visit the capital, Maputo, the coast around Inhambane and Tofo, the port of Nacala and the islands of the Quirimbas Archipelago.

About Mozambique

For centuries Arab and Swahili traders sailed along this coast in wooden dhows, and from the early 1500s it became a Portuguese colony. Mozambique won its independence in 1975, and Portuguese is still its official language, spoken alongside many African languages.

Off the coast, whale sharks, manta rays and humpback whales draw divers to Tofo, and in the far north the Quirimbas islands are fringed with coral reefs and white sand.
