Namibia is a vast, dry country on the south-west coast of Africa, home to the Namib, often called the oldest desert in the world. Our Namibia puzzles show red dunes, a ghost town, a shipwreck and the wildlife of Etosha.

Red Dunes of Sossusvlei, Namibia
At Sossusvlei, some of the tallest sand dunes on Earth glow red and orange in the morning light. Among them lies Deadvlei, a white clay pan where the blackened trunks of camel thorn trees, dead for centuries, still stand because the air is too dry for them to rot.
Near the coast, Kolmanskop was a rich diamond-mining town that was abandoned in the 1950s; today sand fills its empty houses. Along the Skeleton Coast, fog and strong currents left many ships wrecked on the shore. In the north, Etosha National Park is a place to watch giraffes, elephants and lions around the waterholes.
