About Torii of Peace on Lake Ashi, Hakone

Lake Ashi fills part of the caldera of the Hakone volcano, south-west of Tokyo, and on clear days Mount Fuji can be seen across its water. On its shore stands Hakone Shrine, whose red Torii of Peace rises straight out of the lake. The gate was put up in 1952 to celebrate the treaty that ended the occupation of Japan after the war. In this photo the torii frames the lake, the wooded islands and the mountains, with the stone steps leading down to the water.

Puzzle tip: start with the red torii, then the stone steps, and use the line of hills to build the lake and the sky.
