About Nu'utele Island from Lalomanu Beach

Lalomanu lies at the eastern tip of Upolu, and its white beach looks across a shallow lagoon to Nu'utele, the largest of the small Aleipata Islands. Nu'utele is the steep remains of an old volcanic cone, covered in forest and home to nesting seabirds, and the waters around it are a marine protected area. In 2009 a tsunami struck this coast and destroyed much of the village, which has since been rebuilt. In this photo a fishing boat rests in the clear water, with the green cliffs of Nu'utele behind it.

Puzzle tip: start with the boat and the dark island, then fill the pale lagoon water and the big white clouds.
