About Fishing Boat on Lake Victoria, Jinja

Lake Victoria is the largest lake in Africa, shared by Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania, and at Jinja on its northern shore the River Nile flows out of it on its long journey to the Mediterranean. The British explorer John Hanning Speke reached this spot in 1862 and identified it as the source of the Nile. Thousands of fishermen work on the lake in wooden boats like this one, catching tilapia and the large Nile perch. In this photo a painted fishing boat with an outboard motor is moored in the brown shallows, with green hills on the far shore.

Puzzle tip: the painted boat is the first piece to build; the brown water and blue sky take more time.
