About Punakha Dzong between Two Rivers

Punakha Dzong stands where two rivers meet, the Pho Chhu, the "Father River", and the Mo Chhu, the "Mother River". It was built in 1637 and 1638 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, who unified Bhutan, and it was the seat of the government until the capital moved to Thimphu in 1955. A dzong is both a fortress, a monastery and an office building. Punakha Dzong is one of the most beautiful in the country, and in 2011 the King of Bhutan held his wedding here.

Puzzle tip: the white walls and the river make good starting points; the green hills behind are best sorted by shade.
